Klompen is a traditional all-wooden clogs from The Netherlands, which are daily used by Dutch people, like farmers, market gardeners, and flower gardeners. When I tried to wear Klompen, it is not quite comfortable to wear it, because being made entirely of wood, it is very heavy, and has a hard base. However, these clogs have been officially credited as safety shoes which can withstand most sharp objects and concentrated acids. Klompen is seen in almost any souvenir shops in Amsterdam. They are handmade, and painted beautifully and colorfully.
